Park & View

Park & View is in a dedicated field, not on the main campsite. Look out for the large liveried Fairford Airshow Camping Park & View banners on the verge. They will give you a countdown to turn LEFT into a field, just off the main Whelford to Kempsford road.

DO NOT MISS THIS TURNING! If you are in the one way traffic system you will have to go around again!

Fairford Airshow Camping Park and View location-map

Official Routes

Traffic during the airshow is carefully managed and local roads may be closed or one-way at different times of day. The main changes are that roads close to RAF Fairford are likely to be one way only letting people in during the morning and out in the evening, (normally Sat & Sun only). It is best to try and avoid these peak times when arriving / leaving the campsite. Generally the roads are clearest for a couple of hours around midday, or after 7pm when most traffic has left. Fairford Airshow Camping at Whelford is at the end of the red route in Whelford. We will update this information as we receive it.

If you are at all uncertain, please do check travel instructions on the RIAT website:
